KSDE Title 1 Schoolwide Training January 12, 2009.

There is a block of 25 rooms reserved for Wednesday evening November 5th, 2008.

There is a block of 50 rooms reserved for Thursday evening November 6th, 2008.

The limit of registrants is 110 people per training day, if you would rather attend the November 6th, 2008 training register under that one. It is on a first come first serve basis.

 Registration will be closed on December 26th, 2008 please register by that date.

Your estimated room rate should be around $84.00.

 Registration and Continental Breakfast is from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

 The training will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

The training will be located in the South Ballroom at the Holiday Inn Select in Wichita.

 The Kansas State Department of Education will host a Title I schoolwide training for schools planning to become a schoolwide during the 2008-2009 school year. This important meeting will clarify the planning process, introduce the planning template, address questions and allow time for team members to plan together. Each principal and LCP contact was sent a packet of materials explaining the process of becoming a Title I Schoolwide. Please bring those materials with you to the training.  We ask that team members are familiar with those materials prior to the training.  Five members of your school planning team are invited to this important meeting. We are suggesting the following team members participate:  a parent or community member, a Title I teacher or coordinator; a staff member, principal and a district person.
